What to expect...

Our services include worship music, prayer, Bible readings, a Children’s Message/Story, and Bible teaching (sermon). Everything we do is part of worshipping God! We often stand while we sing, but the rest of the service is spent sitting (don't worry - we keep the directions simple and clear!). Wondering what to wear? There isn't a dress code at DFBC. You will see people dressed casually sitting alongside others wearing their "Sunday best". Everyone is welcome at DFBC!

Do you have young children? Children and infants are always welcome in our services - we don't mind a little extra noise! For parents who choose to use it, we offer a Nursery (0-preschool) and Jr. Church (up to 4th grade, 2nd half of service).

Ministries & Programs

We have a variety of ministries and programs we invite you to be a part of

Sunday School - 9:15AM (resumes in September)

We have Sunday School classes for all ages. Children learn about Jesus and the stories in the Bible. Our youth class places greater emphasis on applying what the Bible teaches to our lives today. For most of the year, we offer two adult electives. These often focus on particular books of the Bible, contemporary issues, or discussion of a book by a Christian author.

Adult Electives

  • "Theology for Everyone" - a chance to see and discuss what the Bible actually says about various doctrines and issues

  • "Jesus Says" - an examination of all that Jesus has to say about various topics and issues today

Life Groups

Life Groups are communities of people who are learning to love each other as we follow Jesus together. Running for 8-12 weeks in the Fall, Winter & Spring, these groups meet for fellowship, prayer and discussion of the week's sermon. These groups meet in homes off-campus.
